La Boqueria: New York

La Boqueria is a world referent in food markets. Everyone  knows that its doors are open to everyone and it is a spectacle for the senses. Seduce anyone swho  steps in it and never forget the smells, colors and flavors gathered there.


As you may presume I'm talking about the Mercat de la Boqueria on La Rambla in Barcelona.


What many may not know is that in New York there's also another  Boqueria, that  of chef Marc Vidal from Barcelona based in Brooklyn. Perphaps even more than one, and also they are closely related to the Barcelona's Boqueria market.



Come and taste Edetària in New York and try a new Boqueria.

 The soul of the Boqueria market are  fruit, vegetables, meat, fish, salted fish stalls ... But also its bars: PintoxoQuim de la BoqueriaKiosco Universal.. Small gourmet tapas temples, its forked breakfast and snacks offer genuine culinary gems.



Marc  Vidal Marc Vidal has managed to move all this and more to the local Boqueria a NYC. There are two one in Soho and one in Flatiron Street. Tapes, paella and ham  are served at long tables and sharing that joy entrusted to Barcelona's market.


 Edetària ould not miss that party and its wines served by the glass. The wine served is Via Edetana Blanc, customers love the elegance of white grenache  and its minerality. "We love it!"says Ronald Morgan General Manager


They are also very interested in Via Terra Rose, a wine produced almost exclusively for the USA, and one of the few hairy Grenache rosés in the world.


In fact during the "wineshow" in NYC last week chefs and sommeliers from NYC  were eager to taste the new vintage of our rosé of Hairy Grenache.
