In Table with Edetària: Restaurant Cinc Sentits, Barcelona

In Table with edetaria invites you to visit the restaurant Cinc Sentits -the Five Senses-, with a Michelin star since 2009, Chef Jordi Artal designed  delicious pairing with the White Edetària 2010.

It's Aribau  street in Barcelona's Eixample.

Cinc sentits cuisine is based on local product and traditional Catalan cuisine but with a very creative touch which emphasizes  textures, contrasts and points of cooking.

 

 

 

 

Jordi Artal defines the kitchen of his restaurant with these words: "Without a doubt, the key to a good meal is to find and use the best ingredients in terms of quality.We are  proud to work with small artisans throughout Catalonia that bring  top quality ingredients directly from its source. "

 

The restaurant  is modern, elegant yet intimate as you can see in the pictures and so express the opinions of customers, ambiance and staff are also highly valued:

Chef Jordi Artal chose "... a smoked quail with chestnut cream, crispy skin chicken, Pedro Ximenez jelly, gingerbread and truffles air ..." to be paired with Edetària Blanc 2010. because of the contrast between the saline minerality of the wine offered to the smoky flavor of the baking dish and truffle, and different contrast with the sweetness of  Pedro Ximenez jelly.
